Hello!
So I'm digging around the store pages. I see this alcohol adapter. (I have a new 500CP) It isn't quite clear (to me, at least) what parts I need. I'm also not clear on what types of alcohol this adapts for. Can I leave this in the lamp, when using other fuels? Hello,
You can use 91% iso alcohol and some other alcohols but with the kit you cannot mix fuels use only alcohol as a fuel without the kit you can mix fuels with up to 20% alcohol. See http://britelyt.groupee.net/faq.htm and http://www.britelyt.com/airadjstalc.htm You cannot use Ethanol or Methanol as a fuel, also do not let any fuel set in the lantern tank for long times. Without the alc kit you can mix alc with lamp oil, kero and any fuel. God Bless!! |
